Here at Lumberjack’s we dip our own onions, we French our own fries. Not only do we deliver, but we deliver! 15 miles or less; hot food every time. What separates us is our attention to quality ingredients and our featured items that stand out in an area where all the menus seem to look the same. We try to provide a popular Up North menu with some consciousness, some originality, and always excellent taste
We make our own pizza dough. (From a secret recipe only written down on one piece of paper, 20 years old, that followed chef owner Sean Hartnett from the Fireside Inn at the Cabana in Florida to Montana, Nebraska, back to Florida and finally to Michigan where it was unwrapped, yellowed and crinkled and still covered with flour, to produce the best pizza here in Manistee county!)
Featuring:
“Forest Fire” Hot Sauce – a homemade concoction with the perfect blend of heat and taste, made from habanera peppers & fresh veggies to produce a delicious and challenging condiment for our burgers, pizza, french fries or omelets - if you dare!
Shepherd’s “Piezza” –
Pizza crust smothered with mashed potatoes, gravy, shaved rib eye and cheddar cheese.
Stick-to-your-ribs comfort food delivered in a pizza box!
Buffalo Chicken Pizza –
Instead of wings make it a whole pizza. Hot sauce (mild), Italian chicken, a little blue cheese and mozzarella.
A flat, mild, farm-raised fish, seasoned with a spice rub and blackened for taste and texture. Served with our fresh made mashed potatoes, this dish allows chef owner Sean Hartnett to show off just a little of what he knows about good food.
Homemade Soups -
Sean’s homemade soups are now a staple of the local grapevine. What will he make this week? We have a call list of ladies who must be called when their favorites are on the agenda.
Forester Stew: A blend of meats, herbs, rice and veggies slowly cooked and cared for with a touch of duck fat to bring them back for more.
Onion Soup: Simmered with red wine to give it just the right kick and consistency, you can’t find a better bowl of warm goodness. … if you do, you won’t be around here!
Dining room Open
Tuesday-Thursday 11-7 / Friday & Saturday 8-9 / Sunday 8-2 / Closed Mondays
Come enjoy the national forest and our quiet, friendly town!
See you soon, Kristin & Sean Hartnett
